Sheba Marselan
The Gilboa region enjoys a temperate and dry climate with cool nights. The soil is shallow with moderate water retention capacity, leading to restrained vine growth and an ideal balance between foliage and fruit. These conditions, combined with the meticulous care of the winery’s growers, contribute significantly to the quality of the resulting wine.

Marselan
Appellation
Mount Gilboa
The Marselan grapes were handpicked during the night on the Gilboa ridge. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were destemmed and lightly crushed, then transferred to stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation. Following fermentation, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 18 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels.
Marselan is a Mediterranean-style varietal, a successful cross between Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. It combines the aromatic, fruity character of Grenache with the firm structure and tannins of Cabernet. This wine features an expressive bouquet of floral notes and dark fruits. On the palate, it reveals the same rich, concentrated dark fruit with medium, chewy tannins.
Enjoy it alongside rosemary and garlic lamb shank, grilled spiced kebabs, or duck confit.
